Front End Engineer - Creative

Twitch Creative gives anyone the means to broadcast their creative pursuits and build a community through live interactions. The success of broadcasters defines our success and our broadcasters have more than 100M users watching their streams each month. This position is based out of our San Francisco headquarters and requires relocation.
Product engineers at Twitch work closely with designers, backend engineers, product managers, data scientists to build high quality experiences for the community. Twitch Creative has a small, nimble team dedicated to providing the best product that aligns with our broadcasters and viewers.
The web client is written with Ember.js, builds using Ember CLI, uses ES6 features via Babel, and manifests backend systems like chat and video as user-facing products. Our services use Go, Python and Ruby to provide custom functionality for Creative broadcasters.


You have experience working on the web front-end; you are proficient with HTML5, CSS (or something like SASS), JavaScript, and JS frameworks. However, specific technologies don't matter nearly as much as having a breadth of experience and a great eye for product.
You have strong CS fundamentals and value rigor in engineering.
You are equally excited to build a minimum viable product quickly as you are cementing a proven feature in maintainable and tested code.
You are highly adaptable and able to deal with ambiguity.
You are intellectually curious, passionate, inventive, and eager to grow.
