FTC (Junior - Midweight) Project Manager

Leatherhead, United Kingdom

Role: Project Manager - FTC 6 months with the view to extend

Location: Hybrid / Leatherhead (required onsite 2-3 days per week)

 

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Project Manager will develop a deep understanding of the business at a brand level, their needs, expectations, and requirements to help advise on the optimal solution. You will then ensure everything runs smoothly from scoping and estimation, through contracting and work authorization and development, to acceptance, invoicing, and collections.    

THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF...

  • You have a demonstrable project management experience, ideally within the beauty, wellness and/or FMCG industry 
  • You're extremely well organised, naturally juggling multiple tasks at any one time. 
  • You cope effectively when things are up in the air and carefully manage ever-shifting priorities 
  • A problem solver with an understanding of the creative industry 
  • Great attention to detail
  • You genuinely care about people and build collaborative working relationships. You listen well to challenge and work with people to overcome problems in a positive way
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Experience in working and managing high volume of work
  • Good negotiation skills
  • A real self-starter – Never be sat there twiddling their thumbs
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • The ability to effectively and proactively manage account finances and invoicing
  • Highly creative with the ability to generate ideas and practically contribute to the design studio output
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other related software
  • Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a top tier agency service 

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

You would be part of a team which comprises of people (creative, marketing, CMI, Media and eCommerce) leveraging their expertise and tech to data-driven assets for use across marketing platforms. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Effective project management through the full life cycle using project governance as directed by the client – escalating issues and proactively resolving problems, managing project resource and spend and making critical decisions. 
  • Successful meeting of project deadlines and ensuring speed and quality of the work. 
  • Ensuring adherence to creative best practices and standards, both according to Unilever and platform-specific guidelines, towards channel optimisation and performance. 
  • Effectively managing resource within the Personal Care DMC. 
  • Work-flow management – liaising with internal creatives and external suppliers where needed. 
  • Understanding the importance of brands and working within brand guidelines.
  • Building and maintaining relationships within Personal Care brand teams often through regular face to face contact and virtual meetings.
  • Run account meetings and take responsibility with contact reports and actionable next steps.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for brand team requests concerning the DMC.
