Full Stack Developer

The Job:

moovel North America is looking for a Contract Full Stack Developer to join our team. This position is hands on, working within an agile team to deliver world-class products to transit agencies across North America. A strong candidate should feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment and wearing many hats. This position is a paid, full-time contractor role, reports directly to Director of Service Development, and will be based at the Company’s office in Austin, TX.

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • NodeJS and AngularJS programming and web application development
  • Testing, maintenance and troubleshooting of existing systems
  • Performance enhancement of existing systems
  • MySql query refactoring and optimization
  • Working as part of a small team to find solutions on various problems, using agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Other duties as required by the company 

Desired Skills and Experience: 

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • Proficient in Javascript, NodeJS, Angular, ES6
  • Automated Testing and TDD
  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience.
  • Solid understanding of REST, HTML, Javascript, and CSS
  • Familiarity with Git source control
  • Familiarity with Agile processes
  • Bonus: Jira, Docker, MicroServices
