We’re working on a new stealth project that utilizes a modern tech stack to develop a fast performance web app across TB of data.
If you love big data, fast applications and unique challenges, this position is for you! The ideal candidate has a genuine curiosity towards development, has hobbies within learning new languages and ideally contributes to open source projects. You will be working with a world class talented team who have built and shipped product valued over $8B today.
Responsibilities
- Developing front end website architecture
- Designing user interactions on web pages
- Developing back-end website applications (node.js)
- Work with our databases (Clickhouse, PostgreSQL)
- Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
- Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
- Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
- Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
- Designing and developing APIs.
- Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of software development experience
- Extensive experience with responsive web apps
- Capable of working across the entire software stack
- Experienced practitioner of Agile development
- Openness to new technologies and creative solutions
- Experience building very scalable, high-performing, consumer-facing software platforms
- Able to make solid technical judgements and back them up articulately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced high growth startup environment, to be flexible, and to quickly adapt to new information
- Solid experience shipping products of significant complexity
- Attention to details

The budgeted salary range for this position in New York City is $150,000 - $200,000.
