Full Stack Technical Lead

We are currently seeking an individual with extensive experience and a proven track record as a Full Stack Technical Team Lead to join our dynamic team. As a Full Stack Technical Team Lead, you will demonstrate exceptional skills in shaping and driving the direction and priorities of our engineering team, enabling them to deliver world-class solutions to our customers. Key responsibilities:
- Shape and drive the direction and priorities of the team, focusing on delivering exceptional customer value
- Directly manage a team of full stack engineers, nurturing their growth and empowering them to excel
- Lead the team in technical architecture, design, and requirements to ensure flawless solutions
- Efficiently breakdown solutions into work items and successfully implement changes at a high quality
- Own the end-to-end delivery of work, from creation to production deployment, support, and monitoring
- Delegate tasks, optimize team productivity, and consistently achieve sprint and quarterly goals
- Collaborate with team members, managers, and other individuals involved to guarantee project success.
- Identify risks and develop contingency plans
- Establish and improve team's ways of working and processes
- Foster team autonomy, psychological safety, and a positive team culture
- Grow and maintain a skilled team of full stack engineers across various domains
- Identify skill gaps and participate in recruitment and upskilling activities
- Coach and manage team members' career and performance
- Stay informed about the current industry trends, recommended methods, and emerging technology platforms.
The successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Proven track record of driving significant team deliveries with quality and following agile scrum methodologies
- Proven hands on commercial experience in NodeJS/Typescript programming
- Sound experience in leading, growing, and managing a team of full stack engineers
- Expertise in software design and architecture in scalable services
- Proficiency in full stack development, including DevOps and test automation (BDD & TDD)
- Hands-on experience with NodeJS & Typescript
- Experience in designing and implementing microservices
- Strong knowledge of implementing REST APIs and integrating third-party API services
- Experience with container technologies and services such as Docker and ECS
- Database experience, including NoSQL and RDBMS systems
- Minimum 1 year of experience with AWS serverless cloud computing technology
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as VueJS or similar UI frameworks
- Strong fundamental software development skills and proficiency in web-based applications and architecture
- Passion for clean and beautiful code and best engineering practices
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex issues
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
- Proficiency in effective communication and teamwork within diverse teams
