Fullstack Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Fullstack Engineer to join our new studio company. You will be an early team member and will make a significant impact on the product.

The ideal candidate has a genuine curiosity towards development, has hobbies within learning new languages and ideally contributes to open source projects. You will be working with a world class talented team who have built and shipped product valued over $8B today.

Responsibilities

• Developing front end website architecture.
• Designing user interactions on web pages.
• Developing back-end website applications. 
• Work with databases.
• Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
• Working alongside designers for web design features.
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
• Designing and developing APIs.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Extensive experience with responsive web apps
• Capable of working across the entire software stack
• Experienced practitioner of Agile development
• Openness to new technologies and creative solutions
• Experience building very scalable, high-performing, consumer-facing software platforms
• Able to make solid technical judgements and back them up articulately
• Ability to work in a fast-paced high growth startup environment, to be flexible, and to quickly adapt to new information
• Solid experience shipping products of significant complexity
• Attention to detail

The budgeted salary range for this role is between $150,000 to $200,000 annual, and is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.
