WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Reporting to the Senior Portfolio Associate, this person will examine and analyze fund related accounting records to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting standards
  • Facilitate investor and investment capital calls/distributions with external service providers, including preparing wire/ACH instructions
  • Analyze fund performance metrics on a quarterly basis
  • Evaluate carried interest and fund-related expense management, including management fees and reimbursement expenses
  • Interact with investors on a periodic basis and produce a variety of ad hoc analysis
  • Coordinate annual audit and tax reporting
  • Assist in the structuring, execution, and monitoring of new fund launches
  • Support senior investment professionals in sourcing new transaction opportunities
  • Create and update presentation materials such as marketing decks, one-pagers, etc.

 THE RIGHT STUFF:

  • 1+ years’ experience as a Fund Accountant, Fund Administrator, or experience in Alternative Investments
  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or related field
  • Advanced skills with the Microsoft Suite (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, PowerPoint, Etc.)
  • Process-oriented, data-driven and tech-forward
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and multi-task
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, listening and written)
  • Exercises first-rate judgment 
  • Collaborative approach and team player mentality

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:

  • Knowledge and experience with SQL
  • FINRA Series 99
  • Advanced understanding of accounting/financial statements
  • Marketing experience
