Who we’re looking for:

You’re the quarterback calling plays and huddling with other team members to ensure that the ball isn't dropped when a new Skillz game goes live. You’ll be on the front lines interacting with game studios (large and small) as one of the three critical client-facing roles during the customer lifecycle. Once a new customer has committed to partnering with Skillz to launch a new version of their game, you will be responsible for ensuring that the customer goes through a smooth, efficient integration and launch process.

You'll become an in-house expert on integrating Skillz and building engaging multiplayer games. Most importantly, you’ll be the liaison between our new customers and your teammates to communicate status updates and get games across the finish line to successful launches. The role is cross-functional and empowered to marshal organizational resources to promote the successful adoption of Skillz, and to escalate customer issues while balancing the KPIs and strategic goals of the game developer.

In this role you'll gain an extensive understanding of the Skillz product. You’ll also get great project management experience under your belt while collaborating with internal stakeholders to create a meaningful customer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our Account Executives to coordinate internal resources to ensure success during the integration, testing and launch periods.
  • Ensure that integrations are delivered on-time and within scope.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders
  • Reporting and escalating project progress to management as needed
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed integration project plan to monitor and track progress at each stage of the launch
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Promptly respond to customer questions, bugs and requests during the integration process.
  • Ensure successful handoff of launched games to dedicated account manager
  • Perform risk management to minimize potential integration and game launch risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation for each game in individual portfolio

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years professional experience in project management or customer success/account management role at a technology company, ideally in software/SaaS sales
  • Detailed oriented, interested in games, and has a competitive spirit
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Highly proficient in Powerpoint and Excel
  • Experience in Salesforce (CRM) is preferable
