Gate Pay - Business Development

We launch Gate Pay with a genuine motivation to serve the company and individual users in paying and receiving cryptocurrency anytime, anywhere.  
 
We are looking for a BD Manager to join the fast-evolving Gate Pay team and help accelerate the broader adoption of our payment product into various businesses. You will own from strategies to execution with your business acumen and abilities to create impacts in both Web2 and Web3.  

Responsibilities 

  • Lead Gate Pay business development across dedicated regions and industries; the candidate is responsible for his leads.
  •  Lead the end-to-end partnership development, including procuring, onboarding, and managing strategic payment partners.
  • Drive the communication across Gate teams (including Product and Development teams) to support strategic payment partners in the full product integration and onboarding process. 
  • Provide strategic insights to dive into Gate Pay upgrading and lead new business development initiatives
  • Lead promotion campaigns with Gate Pay merchants/partners to drive more vital Gate Pay brand awareness.

Requirement

  • Proven work experience in a BD role in leading Payment service companies, e.g., WeChat Pay or Alipay, is highly preferred.
  •  Deep understanding of the payment market and have established a bond with local merchants/partners in specific regions (ex-China).  
  • Self-navigator and able to lead the project from end to end, with project experience and know-how in payment product design, production integration, user growth operation, and marketing campaign.  
  • Over four years of work experience in a BD position and at least one year of experience in a payment service company. 
  • Result-driven, vital communication skills, strong pressure resistance, entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Fluent/native in English and Mandarin.
