Lyft is hiring a

General Manager, East Coast

New York, United States

At Lyft, our mission is to improve people’s lives with the world’s best transportation. To do this, we start with our own community by creating an open, inclusive, and diverse organization.

Lyft is looking for a strategic leader to oversee the East Coast region for TBS, which includes our New York City, Boston, and DC micromobility programs (including Citi Bike, Bluebikes, Capital Bikeshare, and our current and future scooter programs in those regions). This leader will own the P&Ls for these systems, which means responsibility for regional strategy, growth, operations, partnerships with local government leaders, and community engagement partners. We also expect this leader to play an integral role in supporting cross functional initiatives across TBS in areas such as product development and policy, and to help shape broader company strategy. It’s an extraordinary moment to take on this leadership role as we continue to grow our programs and introduce new products.

As a General Manager, you will work together with internal and external stakeholders to shape the vision and execution for the East Coast region, as well as contribute to success and learnings in additional markets, through the contribution to playbooks, organization capabilities and advising with on-the-ground execution. The General Manager is a critical leadership role within the organization, acting as a voice of the company at all levels and teams within the organization and externally as a representative of Lyft.

If you share our vision for sustainable transportation that empowers local communities, reduces our environmental footprint and brings people together, we’d love to meet you!
