iwoca is transforming business lending throughout Europe by offering fast and flexible access to credit to the millions of small businesses that are typically neglected by banks and other traditional credit providers. Customers apply online, submitting their trading data through integrations with high-street banks, payment processors, ecommerce platforms and sector-specific providers. This feeds into a proprietary risk engine along with data-points from dozens of external sources, allowing iwoca to offer businesses up to €50,000 (£100,000 in the UK) in a few days – something no other credit provider can match in Germany. With 7,500 transactions since our launch in 2012, iwoca is one of the fastest growing credit providers in Europe.

This is a particularly exciting time to join iwoca: the team has doubled in the last year to 90+, and we recently closed a $20m B Series funding round giving us plenty of firepower to accelerate growth over the coming 18 – 24 months.

As part of our German customer service team, you will be responsible for collecting and organizing business documents submitted by our clients. As you will be working closely with customers, you will need to be a successful communicator, a good listener and passionate about providing the best service possible.

Your role at iwoca:

  • Building rapport with German business owners
  • Handling inbound calls from customers to assist them with the sign-up process
  • Making outbound calls to resolve customer issues
  • Pitching iwoca to customers who have already started the sign-up process but have not yet completed it
  • Responding to customer emails to the necessary standards
  • Ensuring that all necessary documents are in place to allow our Credit Analysts / Account Managers to take a lending decision
  • Maintaining accurate customer records and update systems
