In April 2019, Elvie announced a $42 million Series B, the largest ever fundraise in Femtech.

What will you do?

We're looking for a visionary and inspirational Global Head of Commercial Strategy to join the marketing team to build our commercial strategy and innovation team from scratch. You will partner with the marketing director to help define the future brand, product and commercial direction for the business. This is a hands-on role that will have tremendous impact on the direction and success of the brand going forward. You will be required to build the global innovation team from scratch so must be comfortable with both ambiguity and being hands on from the start. The business has tripled in size over the past 18 months and will continue to grow rapidly. This is a great opportunity to grow and develop with the business and make a real impact on the future success of the organisation.

  • Build the 3- 5 year commercial business plan working with the COO and Global Marketing Director
  • Work closely with product and engineering to align brand and product vision to develop the right roadmap for the business
  • Partner with product team to continually refine and challenge existing product strategies to ensure they continue to meet the business/market needs and objectives
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to build our new product innovation (NPI) process. Be the commercial lead for future product ideation and development. You will need to be comfortable with market mapping and analysis working closely with the research team whilst you grow the team.
  • Build the team from the ground up, you will have the rare opportunity to grow the global commercial innovation team from scratch, so you must be comfortable being hands on.
  • Mentor, develop and grow the direct team, and influence the wider commercial team
  • Partner with local managing directors and their teams to assess and review local market opportunities that should be fed into the NPI process
  • Work with the wider commercial team to assess new market opportunities and entry strategies for new market expansion
  • Partner with the Global head of brand to ensure seamless transition through to the go to market planning


  • 10+ years experience working across marketing, commercial and strategy roles
  • Experience in managing people performance, coaching, mentoring
  • Experience in cross functional leadership for key strategic projects
  • Experience partnering with and influencing product and engineering teams phase to bring leading technology to market. This should start with ideation/concept phase and work through the new product innovation (NPI) milestone process
  • Experience working with local market teams to build their needs into the NPI process. US/APAC experience highly desirable
  • Experience leading research and insight teams to support commercial strategies
  • Organised with a strong ability to plan and prioritise under pressure with non-moveable deadlines
  • Multi-tasker, capable of juggling a number of priorities
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage the team from concept to completion
  • Understanding and adopting effective situational leadership
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to present at executive/Board level
  • Ability to motivate and influence others at every level
