The Role
Our Global Mobility Team supports the safe and seamless movement of Palantir employees around the world. They are responsible for supporting and scaling Palantir’s global immigration program in close coordination with internal partners, external immigration counsel, and Palantir’s dedicated People team.

As a Global Mobility Specialist, you will build and maintain the workflows and frameworks that support Palantir immigration practices. You are a meticulous project manager, comfortable working in ambiguous situations, and can handle a high volume of visa applications at various stages. In this position, you will focus on EMEA immigration (primarily EU and Middle East), but may cover other aspects of global immigration as needed.

This position is based in our London office and you may be required to travel to Palantir's offices in EMEA and the United States occasionally.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own all stages of securing immigration documents and work authorization for employees. This includes: initiating new cases with external immigration counsel, monitoring counsel's engagement with employees to ensure a positive customer experience, and shepherding applications through the process to ensure they're completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide continuous support to applicants as they deploy overseas, and keep all relevant parties appraised of their progress.
  • Take ownership of the long-term immigration strategy in your area of expertise – keeping apprised of upcoming immigration policy changes; developing positive relationships with partners, adjacent teams, and local authorities; monitoring and taking action to ensure legal compliance; and generally ensuring that we're setting ourselves up for success long-term in each country.

What We Value

  • BA/BS or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of corporate immigration or immigration law firm experience. Expertise with immigration processes in any of the following countries is preferred: United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy.
  • Experience handling a large case load and interest in owning outcomes to ensure a spectacular customer experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and familiarity with internal tracking systems (e.g. Workday, JIRA, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills – you work well with teammates and partners in the business, and pride yourself on strong customer service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – you can convey complex immigration guidance in terms that are clear, professional, and concise and are comfortable engaging with all types of customers and with external vendors/immigration authorities.
