Government Business Development Manager

The Role

This is a key role to help Xendit cut through Government related sectors. We need your help to provide intel on upcoming Government projects, focuses and transformation policies, before you guide our outbound sales teams and solution teams to land the deal. Focus sectors maye but not limited to renewable energy, utilities, digital infrastructure building, disaster relief (COVID) and etc

Outcomes

  • Develop and implement the BD Government strategy for the Philippines market with support from the Senior BD manager in the team. BD strategy includes value propositions, target segments and hunt lists.
  • Relentlessly source for government deals across payment, lending and other B2B infrastructure products.
  • When needed, work with the Xendit solution team and customize the solution for government customers, including use case validation, opportunity sizing, solution proposal and integration planning.
  • Co-define Xendit payment product roadmap. Identify product gaps and drive product change requests with prospective product teams.
  • Work closely with PR/events to organize relevant events, webinars, ‘meet-the-merchants’ sessions to actively engage with prospects in the pipeline.
  • Exceed quarterly BD targets, in the language of Leads Gen and Total Processing Volume.
  • Do whatever it takes to make Xendit succeed

  • Genuinely enjoy interacting with people, understanding their perspective and uncovering their pain points.
  • Can effectively operate in a fast paced and ambiguous environment.

Experience

  • Have at least 5 -10 years of sales development experience, ideally with tech companies.
  • Wide C-level connections with government bodies, agencies and associations. Familiar with how government projects work and expectations for technology partners.
  • Understand how payment gateway works. PG experience is nice-to-have but not a must
  • Has experience and extensive involvement in negotiation process
  • Proper in following up and closing the deal.
  • Are fluent in English.
