State and Local Government Sales Representative - Learning Solutions
This role will be based in Carpinteria or San Francisco, dependent upon where the candidate is currently located.

Linkedin Learning Solutions is seeking a State & Local Government Sales Representative to sell it's products and services to assigned government accounts. You will be responsible for responding to inbound inquiries as well as blanketing your region with outbound activity.
Proactively cultivate new business by prospecting in assigned territory through high activity in making cold calls and e-mail campaigns
Consistently meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly assigned KPIs, including but not limited to: outbound calls, lead conversions, first meetings, prospecting activities, email campaigns, pipeline growth.
Present and sell company products and services to potential clients
Follow up on new leads and referrals
Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
Successfully renew and grow existing accounts
Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services
Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff
Other duties as assigned
4+ years of applicable sales experience
Demonstrated success as a self-starter
Problem-solving skills and adaptability to the rapidly-changing requirements of the business
A collaborative team player with excellent listening, presentation and negotiation skills
Experience with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com a plus.
Achieve or exceed sales quota through prospecting, building and developing a pipeline and closing sales with State & Local government customers.
