Linkedin Learning Solutions is seeking a State & Local Government Sales Representative to sell it's products and services to assigned government accounts. This is an inside sales position for an experienced State & Local Government sales professional with a gift for closing sales over the phone, and the track record to prove it.

Responsibilities:
  • Gain mastery of the latest distance-selling technologies including e-mail, webinars, and video/teleconferences
  • Develop customer relationships that will yield long-term success
  • Work to maximize customer satisfaction before, during, and after the sale
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts and present to prospects and customers
  • Prepare the appropriate paperwork to activate and maintain contract services
  • Prepare the required status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals
Basic qualifications:
  • 3+ years inside sales experience in a quota carrying sales role within the SaaS, Government or Learning and Development marketplace
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated success as a self-starter 
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability to the rapidly-changing requirements of the business
  • A collaborative team player with excellent listening, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com a plus
  • Achieve or exceed sales quota through prospecting, building and developing a pipeline and closing sales with State & Local Government customers
