About us:

Our founding team consists of people from ISB, NSIT, IITs and NITs with very strong past entrepreneurial background and F&B experience. LimeTray counts very successful internet entrepreneurs as its angel investors along with Matrix Partners and JSW Ventures.

Our story starts with the realization that many try to walk a mile in the shoes of a restaurant, even if branded, get ripped so soon. So, we at LimeTray, decided to help restaurants in their roller coaster rides, by building products that would help them to ride better. We help restaurants get online, help them engage with their customers and help them optimize their operations through a suite of products. In a span of 5 years, we have built successful relationships with some of the top brands in India including Burger King, Krispy Kreme, Mad Over Donuts, Bercos and over 2500 others!


About the role:

We are looking for a Graphic/Visual Designer to design our marketing material with (very) high visual impact. You will work on a variety of products across the food technology landscape. We are a SaaS startup, do take a look at our website and blog to get a sense of what we do. 


What we mean by high visual impact  

The goal is to position LimeTray as an industry leader that cares about good design. And is sharp in it’s communication. Our expectation is to be able to cut through, grab attention, solve neatly and set the standard, repeatedly.

Design will help us be the signal in a noisy world.


Key Result Areas: 

  • Be a self-starter and manage the design pipeline. Work with the marketing and content team to come up with ideas of repurposing content into a variety of snackable formats that is relevant in today’s context. Then execute them quickly.

      Note: There are no separate managers to help the designer manage their workflow. We expect our design lead to communicate and set expectations with teams.

      In real life this looks like: Infographics, data visualization & blog creatives., Case studies (Text and video), E-books & reports, Website UI, Social media creatives (Graphics, motion and video), Display ads, Corporate identity and branding.

  • Create a design language that is instantly recognizable and unique to LimeTray.
  • Constantly be on top of global design trends that can inform our aesthetic.
  • Work on company website, design conversion-centric landing pages for products and marketing campaigns.


What we look for:

  • Great Communicator - We are looking for a communicator par excellence. You know your words and enjoy expressing your thoughts in your emails and phone conversations that reflect the LimeTray`s ownership and hustle.
  • Problem Solver - There are times when you have a deadline but not the right candidate for the position, you have to be able to figure out a quick solution which will not hamper team’s productivity.
  • Comfortable with Ambiguity - You enjoy high pace of work and an environment where all answers are not readily available but will need you to be a part of finding answers
  • Presence of Mind - You know how to apply your mind to think through a complex problem and not lose your cool in dealing with clients


Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Graphic, UI, Motion, Video, Typography, Print and 3D (bonus)
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience


How will you spend your time here?  

  • 30% Ideas (Can’t define this, sorry)
  • 70% Execution (50% collateral and graphics, 40% UI/UX, 10% moonshots)
