About the Role
TCP Software is hiring a Graphic/Digital Designer to join our growing marketing team. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for delivering effective, on-brand, on-strategy and aesthetically pleasing print and digital marketing materials such as brochures, digital banner ads, website landing pages, tradeshow graphics and additional creative required for campaigns and lead generation. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fun and fast-paced environment with a range of internal “clientele,” and will possess a keen eye for detail. Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite are a must as well as a portfolio with at least three years of real work experience. This role will report directly to the Director of Brand, Creative and Marketing Communications. 

Key Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

  • Working within brand guidelines, design print and digital assets for marketing campaigns that primarily drive lead generation 
  • Translate and create marketing requests for various departments into compelling designs

  • Print:  
  • Design and produce collateral such as brochures, fact sheets, case studies, infographics and eBooks 
  • Design and produce other graphics e.g., tradeshow booths, email templates and promotional items  
  • Format print-ready files and liaise with printers as needed 

  • Digital:  
  • Design web pages with UX and mobile-first/responsiveness in mind, including production of photos and graphics 
  • Track and optimize website pages on a consistent basis and liaise with developers to ensure UX and proper implementation  
  • Design and produce static and rich banner ads, including sizing and versioning  
  • Format email templates including image selection, retouching and sizing (Hubspot/ Marketo)
  •  
  • Craft mini videos and presentations used for brand awareness, paid social ads and company training (Canva/Crello)  
  • Work with outside vendors such as tradeshow companies, printers, promotional products companies, etc. 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Job Requirement

  • Portfolio showing ability to design and produce print and digital designs, preferably within a B2B environment with SaaS experience a plus 
  • Ability to work in a content management system with working knowledge of Craft CMS a plus 
  • Understanding of UX/UI and responsive, mobile-first design  
  • Working knowledge of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, InDesign (After Effects, a plus); working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint); understanding of HTML/CSS preferred 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple projects at a time 
  • Ability to follow direction including a brand style guide and templates to ensure consistency and integrity of the brand

  • Proven understanding of graphic design fundamentals for print and digital  
  • Demonstrated ability to take a project from concept to completion/launch 
  • Strong command of color theory, image composition and typography 
  • Excellent time-management skills 
  • Ability to deliver production-ready print and digital assets in a wide variety of formats 
  • Strong awareness of UX/UI principles 
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 
  • Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy 

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in graphic design, digital design or related field  
  • Minimum three years successful professional design experience, preferably within a B2B and/or software/SaaS environment  
  • Strong portfolio of graphic design work, showing an understanding of design principles and best practices including UX for web  
  • Ability to present concepts to internal and external clients  
  • Experience taking projects from concept through to print/launch 
  • Experience in digital marketing including banner ad design, with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office with an understanding of HTML/CSS  
  • Strong work ethic, ability to take direction, keen eye for detail, understanding of brand cohesion, passion for remaining up to date with online best practices (design trends, UX, UI, WCAG, etc.)  
  • Strong time management, interpersonal and communication skills  
  • Self-motivated individual willing to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
