Spotify Premium is looking for a Group Product Manager to join the Premium Mission, Iron Bank tribe. Our tribe is responsible for Spotify’s Premium product focussing on areas as diverse as rolling out new payment methods in new markets, optimizing our checkout flow, building marketing capabilities to sell our product portfolio and exploring entirely new value propositions and partnerships such as Hulu and Showtime.
In this role you will be responsible for developing and driving the vision and strategy within our Conversion Product Area. You will be building and leading a team of highly talented Product Managers, Senior Product Managers and Associate Product Managers and you will have direct impact on one of the world’s largest subscription payments platforms. We are expecting you to help us take this incredible business to the next level.
You will be:
Developing end to end product vision and strategy for the Conversion space in collaboration with key stakeholders
Building and managing a team consisting of at least two Product Managers, who in turn lead the product development of their respective full stack team.
Accountable for a clear set of business metrics
A key part of the tribe’s leadership and product leadership teams
Expected to own and drive cross tribe product initiatives from time to time.
Working in close collaboration with a tech, design and product insights counterpart to lead and grow your Product Area.
You have experience from successful delivery of high quality consumer experiences.
You have deep understanding of online marketplaces and the online commerce space in general
You have experience of Online Marketing and Marketing platforms
You have experience of hiring, coaching and growing high-performing teams of product managers.
You have a few years experience as a people manager.
You are self motivated with a strong focus on delivery of user value.
You are driven, but with a collaborative mindset. “You don’t win unless your team wins”.
You are well organized with great attention to detail.
You are a “do-er”, willing to work hands-on including stepping in to work directly with a development team in a product role if needed.
You are highly capable of formulating and communicating bold and far-reaching product vision and strategy, whether it be to your team or to senior stakeholders.
You have strong influencing skills and can adroitly navigate a complex and matrixed organisation
You are open to travel
You are an excellent communicator in English, whether it be in words or in writing.
