unu is an urban mobility brand based in Berlin. Our first product was the unu Scooter Classic, an electric scooter with portable batteries launched in 2014. Our products are sold both directly to consumers and business customers, making them accessible to everyone and resulting in fair prices by eluding dealership costs. In 2020, we launched the second generation of our scooter: The unu Scooter was designed in house and completely re-designed with our partners in Germany. The new scooter offers space for two people, as well as the largest storage space and one of the fastest acceleration values in the electric scooter segment.

After establishing a strong footprint in Germany, Austria and France, we are looking to consolidate our position as one of Europe's leading e-mobility brands.

With already more than 70 creative challengers striving for the best urban mobility solution, we are now looking for a Growth Marketing Manager to join the team in our headquarter in Berlin.

This is where you will make an impact...

  • You will formulate a hypothesis-driven acquisition strategy that will translate into a roadmap and clear goals along the way
  • You will review our existing setup with our Website and work with: Contentful, Big Commerce & Salesforce and identify additional marketing-oriented CRM tools and other productivity tools
  • You will lead the conception of pilot projects (growth hacks) and will be responsible to  drive customer experience on the website and increasing the LTV of our Customers
  • You will review & challenge our planned engagement strategy for each step of the customer journey to derive an optimal integration strategy for the above mentioned tools
  • You will set up data pipelines, integrations and configurations with an omnichannel mindset and enable the full nurturing track 
  • You will work closely with the Customer support, Performance Marketing and Content Marketing team to align on resources and needs
  • You will set up monitoring, educate CRM and other marketing managers and ensure high adoption, usability and uptime of our digital tools 
  • You will challenge all our digital tools further and continuously improve our tool stack to ensure the success of our marketing and sales efforts
  • You will gather in-depth consumer, competitor and market knowledge to derive insights to facilitate positioning, helping to develop and adjust the go-to-market strategy for new launches and new markets

You’ll be perfect for this role when...

  • First of all, you should be passionate about our values (collective courage, curious connection, radical authenticity, simple perfection und creative challenger) and our vision – creating mobility solutions that fully connect people to their city
  • You have 4+ years of relevant experience in customer lifecycle marketing/growth marketing, preferably in a Commercial Environment 
  • Relevant university degree in Marketing, Business, Data or other related fields of study
  • You are experienced with at least one more area of organic growth such as user referral programs, branding, affiliate, SEO, or similar
  • You have gained experience in operations, digital growth companies, analytics or related fields
  • You have a strategic mindset and energy to define, implement and improve your plan
  • You have a history of strategic thinking and operational execution You have experience in A/B Testing Campaigns for the User Journey, Website Features and Marketing Campaigns 
  • You have experience as a product owner/project manager in the field of e-commerce, digital business or similar
  • You worked in an early-stage startup (preferable E-Commerce) and know how to set up processes and develop them further 
  • You think solution-oriented and therefore you can communicate with developers, marketing experts and the C-Level, to find and develop the best solution
  • You bring a self-motivated, diligent and proactive approach to your work, are a team player with good communication skills and have a positive attitude to problem-solving
