Head of Ad Operations and Programmatic

Australia’s premier women’s media network is looking for a Head of Ad Ops and Programmatic to join our dynamic organisation.

We want an experienced and collaborative person who can manage Mamamia’s Ad Operations function to execute successful online campaigns for our valued clients.

You will provide effective leadership to a small team and work directly with multiple internal departments to monitor the performance of all programmatic, direct and audience informed media campaigns across the network.

You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and will have experience developing quality processes and procedures.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Execute and manage programmatic delivery and premium campaigns from implementation to end of campaign reporting
  • Act as communication liaison between operations, strategy, dev and sales teams to provide feedback on improvements to our ad systems and client offerings
  • Troubleshoot technical issues of ad serving, site tagging issues and discrepancy between various platforms
  • Responsible for design, strategy and rolling out processes and workflows surrounding tagging, QA, testing and campaign setup
  • Work directly with the ad sales, activations and content team to monitor performance of all programmatic, direct and audience informed media campaigns across MWN properties
  • Responsible for the continual evolution of our revenue streams through optimization around ad operations efforts:

To be successful you will have;

  • Minimum 4 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience with Google-DoubleClick /DFP, Brightcove, Krux, tag management, Operative,  and adX / multi-SSP configurations required.
  • Experience delivering, analysing and optimizing audience targeted campaigns
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven self-starter, with ability to drive initiatives and end goals
  • Strong team player, with ability to work cross-functionally
