Head of Ads

  • Run the whole B.TECH Ads online and offline business end-to-end by defining the way forward
  • Own and manage the P&L of the business including setting the targets for the business, tracking performance and defining improvements
  • Orchestrate the whole process involving various teams (Merchandizing, AdSales, AdOps and AdTech) as required to achieve results
  • Coach the squad members to excel in their work streams
  • Lead the creation of a go-to-market strategy and identify potential opportunities within current and new segments
  • Identify cross and up-sell opportunities for B.TECH Ads business throughout the year
  • Work with sales lead and squad to prepare for negotiations process and define growth strategy for each account
  • Get actively involved in key Tier-1 negotiations
  • Monitor and boost sales pipeline across endemic and non-endemic brands and with agencies
  • Setup and constantly improve process of launching ad campaigns
  • Lead building of B.TECH Ads product offering (incl. controlling product development map)


  • 10+ years in media sales, including 5+ years in sales operations and experience managing teams for Media selling (Online and Offline)
  • Previous experience in Commerce and Retail Media Marketing preferred, having worked for a brand, retailer or agency across media
  • Experience should also include broader commercial negotiation and joint business planning
  • Ownership/ start-up mindset with a propensity for finding unique solutions to business challenges
  • Strong problem solver with ability to lead and push teams towards solution and progress
  • Experience working with cross function roles including digital roles (i.e. Data Analysts/Scientists)
  • Excellent communicator, well-networked, collaborative and influential
