Head of Content - Tourism

Tahaluf is looking for a Content Head to support the Group Director and  leading the content team, responsible for delivering high-quality, differentiated content services to our brand clients.  

Cityscape Global comes to Saudi Arabia for the first time this year, in partnership with the Saudi Ministry of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing (MOMRAH), to launch the most ambitious global real estate event the world has ever seen.

Cityscape Global is where homebuyers, government housing departments, investors, architects, occupiers, developers and service providers come together to share insights, expertise and new ideas – and featuring a speaker line up of real-estate industry pioneers

Working closely with our Content Team, as well as our program management, marketing, sales, production, design, operations, and expert network teams, you will be focused on 4 core pillars of our success: 

  • Revenue: Hit or exceed revenue goals, mindful of balancing short-term and long-term revenue activities  
  • Content Quality: Drive consistent delivery of expertise-driven, high-performing, differentiated content for our brand clients  
  • People: Raise an engaged, client-centric team of consultative, journalistic content strategists; drive a people-centered culture of accountability, empathy, and inclusiveness 
  • Process: Evolve processes to be agile, client-centric, scalable, and efficient

Key Responsibilities 

The content team at Cityscape is central to client success and works across our client base and internal teams. Senior leaders on the team need a strong arsenal of skill sets across content marketing/editorial, business, and people management.  

We’re looking for someone who wants to win for clients and for our business, works exceptionally well with people at all levels, and has a strong ability to zoom out (at the larger picture) and zoom in (to get into the nitty-gritty of the work). Above all, we’re looking for someone who is passionate about building the best B2B content studio in the world and is willing to put in the work to do it.  

Develop and implement the revenue growth strategy for the event content team  

  • Deliver client success by overseeing the quality, delivery, and performance of content marketing programs across our client book of business at the enterprise and campaign level  
  • Work directly with the sales team to develop  products/pricing, scope programs, and help with pitching in new clients  
  • Manage the content team, ensuring their teams are excelling at developing differentiated, expertise-driven content 
  • Cultivate a thriving culture that values performance, collaboration, client service, and risk-taking  
  • Work in partnership across the team to build a thriving expert network of industry experts 
  • Develop and maintain content quality standards, working across the team to stay at the forefront of what makes effective, compelling content marketing 
  • Evolve team processes to help us achieve our client and business objectives 
  • Jump in to help solve complex client and organizational challenges 
  • Represent Cityscape at key client meetings 
  • Foster diversity, inclusion, and belonging  

Educated to degree level or equivalent 

Background Knowledge, Skills & Experience 

  • 8+ years in content marketing with strong management, editorial, and client service experience (years less important than demonstrated experience)  
  • Track record of driving client, revenue, and team growth  
  • Work with key stake holders such as Ministries and Governments  
  • Exceptional editing, ideation, and content strategy skill set and the ability to teach these skills to others 
  • Strong business, process development, and people management acumen 
  • Demonstrated ability to grow individual contributors from both a skill set and career standpoint 
  • Strong track record of building a creative, engaged culture that celebrates performance and individuality  
  • Skilled problem solver - demonstrated ability to zoom out (to drive larger strategic initiatives) and zoom in (get involved in client work)  
  • Deep knowledge of the property & real estate Industry Dive client engagement model for enterprise and campaign clients 
  • Demonstrated ability to balance priorities across different client cohorts (for example - enterprise & campaign level clients)
