The marketing team at Twitch manages our brand presence at a long list of global events, trade shows and conventions, and produces TwitchCon, our annual convention with over 20,000 attendees.
Twitch is looking for a seasoned executive to help us manage our events business and build our long-term global events strategy in a way that delights our passionate community and ultimately drives core business goals defined in partnership with leaders of business units including Partnerships, BD, Sales, Recruiting, and Developer Relations.
The Head of Events and Operations is a highly visible role with extensive experience managing brand executions at both consumer and B2B events, conventions, and trade shows. We’re seeking a leader with demonstrated experience building large-scale, complex branded conventions and the ability to balance multiple stakeholders with disparate goals.
The Head of Events and Operations will interface with executive staff on a regular basis, drive consensus on success metrics, and report regularly on progress. This role will also work closely with marketing colleagues including members of the PR, Design, Creative Services, Community, Social Media teams.
This role manages a talented and growing team of marketing and events professionals, as well as external vendors and contractors. A successful candidate is equal parts manager and mentor, who is motivational and inspirational, and excited about doing amazing things at Twitch.
