JustWatch provides data-driven digital marketing to the global entertainment industry. We own the world’s largest streaming guide for movies, TV shows & sports and utilize the user data to run digital marketing campaigns for Hollywood’s latest blockbusters and great independent movies.
JustWatch has grown from a very lean start-up into a company of 200+ people who are working from our headquarters in Berlin, one of our offices abroad, or remotely. We never raised shiny VC rounds but focused on building a profitable business while keeping our strong growth momentum.
We are looking for a Head of Finance who fits our unique culture of constant learning, delivering results, and creating value. You will report to one of the founders and be responsible for all finance-related functions with a focus on accounting, controlling and reporting.
What You Will Need

- Strong background in accounting (HGB and IFRS) and automation of financial processes

- Intrinsic motivation and a positive attitude to everything you do
- A clear and precise communication style in English and German
What You Will Be Doing
- Be responsible for the P&L and BS of JustWatch
- Lead and expand a highly professional and lean finance department
- Ensure consistent quality and timeliness of monthly and annual closing processes
- Streamline and automate processes in accounting, controlling, and reporting
- Introduce a lean treasury function to manage liquidity, interest, and FX risks
- Prepare regular financial plans, forecasts, and shareholder reports
- Manage relationships with tax advisors, auditors, and other service providers
- Support the management team with the strategic development of the group
