Your day will look a little like this:
As a our Head of IT and Infrastructure (InfraOps) at Tide, fondly referred to as a Tidean (a god like challenger of the banking world), you will be responsible for our AWS infrastructure environments, our office’s internal infrastructure in both the UK and Bulgaria, dealing with Security threats and pre-emptive measurements, importantly keep our production environments scalable and production ready through gate keeping and your devops and secops resources.
Who are we looking for?
Take ownership of Tides infrastructure, production environment and network security. Tide is a challenger bank, so we expect you to have worked ideally in a FCA or other regulated environment. Your direct reports are DevOps, DevSecOps, DBA, office Infrastructure and networks support resources in UK and Sofia. We are a native mobile first company fully utilizing cloud and integrated third party B2B services. Our core technology stacks are open source and native iOS, Android, Java, Angular, Docker, Python and our back ends are already moving to microservices. The company’s delivery culture is scalable safe agile with autonomous cross functional teams in distributed environments.
We have come from a start-up culture and are now scaling rapidly so ideally would like candidates that have experienced start-up culture, are flexible working outside of core business hours and understand the challenges involved in scaling rapidly.
