Head of Marketing

We have two brands; EventsTag who work with brand experiences such as Fortnite’s World Cup, British Airway’s Rugby Sponsorship or Desperado's Elrow nights and We Are Interact who work with visitor attractions such as Chessington World of Adventures, Gravity Trampoline Park and Variant 31.

We have developed one of the world's most advanced visitor interaction platforms. We have the ability to create innovative and irresistably shareable social media content for visitors, streamline processes for venue or event owners with self service registration and automatically calculate and manage scores for live interactions.

Although we’ve been around 7 years we act as a start up. We are rapidly growing, we are well funded and we are built on a culture of innovation, passion and teamwork. We have a sizeable portfolio, delivering engaging live experiences and customisable social media memorabilia - with huge amplification opportunity - to some of the biggest brands in the world including Nike, Google, Spotify, Adidas, O2, Yves Saint Laurent, eBay and more. The list goes on. And we want it to go even further, which is why we we are looking to expand our talented team with the addition of a Head of Marketing for our London office.

You should already be a superstar in the making, but you’ll be looking to move somewhere where you can have direct influence and own a piece of your success. You’ll be coming either from an existing start-up that’s enjoyed huge growth, or a commercial marketing function within a business selling to brands or agencies. You’re a digital native, excited about our product, always bang-on marketing tech trends and a boundary pusher, pushing our boundaries with yours.

You won’t be afraid to get your sleeves rolled-up and get stuck in. Content marketing, trade shows, growth hacks and PR should be a breeze to you and you’ll want to be part of the everyday running of them. You’re dynamic, a free thinker, continually finding innovative ways to market our business, whilst building and protecting our Brand.

CPAs, Conversion & Traffic are your bread & butter. Commercially astute, you know how to stretch pennies into pounds. You’ll want to grow our marketing team from just you for now into a large global team of marketers.

So what exactly will YOU be doing?

  • Building our PR strategy and network across both brands. Using either an agency or your own internal resource, you’ll be responsible for creating and implementing a PR strategy that gets our work talked about.
  • You’ll be creating an internal process that ensures you’re regularly updated on client activations and new installations. You’ll be in charge of collecting that information and turning it into useful assets for web, social and the sales teams proposals.
  • Managing and growing our social media presence with either internal resource or an agency.
  • Creating and implementing a content strategy, including SEO, that drives new leads.
  • Managing an agency (or taking on yourself)
  • Devising, managing, finding partners and launch creative campaigns that drive new leads and revenue.
  • Communicate directly with our database through newsletters, events and innovative campaigns to inspire repeat purchase.
  • Working with the sales function to provide materials and tools that increase their conversion rates.
  • Writing and testing new web content and landing pages, managing the social media channels and assigning a small budget to advertising.


First up, the basics:

  • You must be eligible to work in the UK
  • You must be able and willing to work flexible hours when required
  • You must have demonstrable commercial marketing experience
  • You should have experience of managing agencies and internal staff

Now for the good stuff:

  • You should be highly motivated: a self-starter with buckets of initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must
  • You should have a sound understanding of all aspects of digital marketing: Social media, PPC ads, content marketing and PR
  • You should have some experience of creating a campaign for a brand.
  • You should be experienced in budget management
  • You should be proficient in Google suit, Photoshop, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • You should have an interest in photography, live experiences and technology
