Job Summary:

Ruggable is looking for a European Head of Marketing to join our growing UK based team and be a key team member driving our international expansion. Reporting to the European Managing Director, the Head of Marketing is responsible for the overall marketing strategy and execution across Europe to drive meaningful growth for Ruggable. 

The ideal candidate is a consumer-focused marketer that is data-driven, yet creative, with a proven ability to develop and execute effective strategies and to lead, inspire and grow high-performing teams. We have big plans for Ruggable’s growth in the UK and Europe and this role is an integral part of it. This role is London based with a hybrid schedule (Office/Remote).

What You’ll Do: 

  • Develop and execute Ruggable’s UK and Europe marketing strategy
  • Responsible for developing best-in-class cross-platform marketing campaigns and programs. Plan, implement and optimize customer acquisition, activation, retention campaigns across digital and traditional marketing channels (ad across multiple markets)
  • Lead and develop strategies for localized creative, influencer, digital, PR and brand activations
  • Crucially, you will help a performance marketing driven organization expand into a broader marketing mix in order to drive hyper-growth 
  • Work in partnership with our global marketing team and leverage their considerable capabilities and shared services - align with their global strategy while deviating where necessary
  • Lead, inspire and grow our Europe marketing team - including performance/growth marketers, brand marketers and analytics experts; you will think critically about where we need local vs off-shore vs centralized support
  • Oversee allocation and forecasting of the marketing budget to maximize return on investment, and you’ll ensure that we effectively measure performance of our marketing and brand activities

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required:

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in marketing roles for high growth DTC / Ecommerce businesses, covering multiple European markets
  • Deep understanding of the whole marketing mix, from brand to direct response; ability to orchestrate and deliver compelling, joined-up marketing activities
  • Ability to define and implement measurement frameworks across full marketing mix and to scale successful channels based on data-led insights
  • Analytical mindset and proven ability to use data to optimize performance and inform future strategies (including implementing / overseeing measurement frameworks, attribution models, etc.)
  • Experience of working in / with the key markets within Europe, bringing the perspective of how to show up as locally relevant (right message, right channel, right time)
  • Expert understanding of digital marketing, including CRM, Paid Media, affiliates, SEO and other performance marketing related activities
  • Experience in managing successful TV campaigns as well as other ATL activities (OOH, radio, etc.)
  • Experience working with creative teams (in-house and agency) to develop localized content for Europe consumers
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously
  • Excitement for scaling and growth; you are a team-player, hard-working, organized, and goal-oriented

Preferred:

  • Experience working in Germany and/or France
