About the Head of Marketing

We are looking for our first marketing hire – a key revenue and profit driver for both the Peek.com B2C marketplace and Peek Pro B2B SaaS tools. With a meticulous focus on targeted segmentation and analytics, you will create and implement performance marketing strategies to rapidly grow our consumer and merchant customer bases. You will be a hands-on, cross-functional leader reporting directly to the CEO.

For the Peek Marketplace, you will be responsible for understanding and owning the company’s overall growth objectives. You will drive a quality audience to book tours and activities on Peek.com and our consumer mobile app, prioritizing online channels like SEM, Email, and Social Media.

For Peek Professional, you will be responsible for increasing the size, loyalty, and profitability of our merchant customer base. You will build out our B2B online presence, generate marketing content, and run Email, SEM, and Social Media campaigns to acquire and retain tour and activity providers.

We’re looking for an inspiring leader who cares deeply about cultivating the success of his or her team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, creativity, analytical skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in online marketing and customer acquisition for a fast-growing marketplace and/or SaaS company
  • Deep expertise in SEM and email marketing, preferably for both B2B & B2C companies
  • Proven track record of conceptualizing, executing, and optimizing paid marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Preference for experience with market-based launches
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • A bias for action and maniacal focus on results
  • BA/BS degree from leading university with strong academic background or equivalent experience; technical background highly valued
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com and marketing automation software preferred
  • Microsoft Excel guru; Access, SQL, and statistical modeling expertise an added bonus

Responsibilities

  • Manage all online and offline marketing efforts for the company and help prioritize time/spend across channels
  • Analyze customer and campaign data to inform business and marketing decisions
  • Identify key growth metrics for customer growth/engagement and regularly report insights to management
  • Design and implement SEM, Email, Social Media, Retargeting and Mobile campaigns to acquire customers
  • Manage content creation and optimization for the company’s websites and social media channels
  • Own the sales collateral suite, maintaining a centralized library of materials
  • Assess and improve current customer engagement efforts
  • Propose, spec, and manage product changes to encourage virality and engagement
  • Manage all current and future advertising and marketing vendor relationships
