Head of Product Management

Quantexa is an Enterprise Software company and deployed at some of the largest Financial Institutions in the world solving challenges such as Financial Crime (AML/Fraud), KYC, Credit Risk Decisioning and new customer Prospecting.

Due to our continued success and high demand from our Clients, we are looking for a senior enterprise software product manager to lead and grow our platform product management function reporting to the CTO.

What will you be doing?

As an Enterprise Software Company, you will be at the heart of our business. Expect regular contact with senior decision makers across all departments, including Marketing, CPO’s, Pre-Sales, Domain Experts, Project Managers, Applications and Solution Owners, R&D, UIX, SaaS etc.

The role will require you to have a strong background in building and running a product management function from the ground up and a deep understanding of the features/capabilities of the Quantexa platform, as well as the major use cases of our product. You have a strong technical foundation and keep on top of new developments in the field. You have extensive practical experience working in Product Management and can easily translate customer needs into engineering requirements. You will also need excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.

As part of your role, you will:

  • Build and run Quantexa’s software platform product management process including suitable gate and sign-off points for releases and product launches
  • Work with senior stakeholders to align on product strategy and product goals
  • Manage the end to end capture of platform requirements by engaging directly with:
    • Existing clients: for features requests or pain points being requested by existing users
    • Solutions leads: for future market opportunities and emerging use cases
    • Technical delivery teams: for non-functional requirements to make our platform cheaper/easier to implement
  • Collect business case metrics that allow new requirements to be prioritised, ensuring market fit for input into Quantexa’s product roadmap
  • Define the scope and requirements for features / functionality with appropriate documentation
  • Present the requirements, designs, prototypes and demonstrations back to clients to gather feedback
  • Produce and manage the platform roadmap and present to internal stakeholders. Present to external stakeholders during customer review cycles working with Quantexa’s customer success team
  • Provide commercial product management support working with Product Marketing and Sales on GTM strategy, new product launches and product content for marketing assets
  • Become a Quantexa platform product expert who can work with the commercial side of the business to support key future sales processes from time to time
  • Conduct competitive intelligence research and analysis to ensure the Quantexa platform remains market leading and fully aligned with key industry, technology, regulatory and competitive trends.
  • Minimum of 5 years of enterprise product management experience in an enterprise software company, including cloud
  • The ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences, both internally and externally. The ability to manage expectations, critically challenge and ensure transparency across stakeholders
  • Experience building relationships with both customers and internal teams to capture their needs and to translate them into proposals for new products and enhancements
  • Great communication skills to collaborate across multiple functions and stakeholders
  • Experience in driving a technical and commercially aligned product roadmap process
  • Experience in eliciting requirements and leading the design and implementation of solutions to customer problems and testing and validating functional specifications during the development process
  • Experience in at least one of the following:
    • Knowledge about our primary business domains (AML/Fraud/KYC/Risk)
    • B2B software supporting complex business processes and Big Data.

This role requires an ability to adapt and problem solve in a fast moving, and growing business environment, a strong understanding of our technology, a passion for creating great products and excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Requirements

A successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of enterprise product management experience in an enterprise software company, including cloud
  • The ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences, both internally and externally. The ability to manage expectations, critically challenge and ensure transparency across stakeholders
  • Experience building relationships with both customers and internal teams to capture their needs and to translate them into proposals for new products and enhancements
  • Great communication skills to collaborate across multiple functions and stakeholders
  • Experience in eliciting requirements and leading the design and implementation of solutions to customer problems and testing and validating functional specifications during the development process
  • Experience in at least one of the following:
  • Knowledge about our primary business domains (AML/Fraud/KYC/Risk)
  • B2B software supporting complex business processes and Big Data
