Perkbox is looking to recruit a highly competent Head of Revenue Operations to enable the marketing, sales and customer success organisations domestically and internationally. Amongst other tasks this role will involve the enablement and accountability of the sales teams through efficient organisational design, smooth processes enabled by best of breed technology.

The Head of RevOps is a key role to driving success in the commercial function and will be reporting directly to the COO. You will play a key part in the forecasting process, from creating assets to leading the calls, to highlighting key points and trends, becoming a true trusted advisor to the business leaders. You will also operate at the intersection of process improvement, business readiness, scoping of technology needs and execution through training of the various teams.

You will lead building a revenue operations function including defining KPIs and cadence for improvements. Key to the success of the role will be building strong relationships with colleagues across the business to keep the end-to-end sales process and funnel working smoothly, simply and efficiently.

You will be driving efficiencies and automation where possible, utilizing both custom-built and best of breed tools, along with developing your own ideas in an open and creative way. You will help the teams in trouble shooting and resolving issues affecting our marketing, sales and customer success organisations. You will have the autonomy to oversee the redesign of key systems which will be critical to scaling the business.

Principal Accountabilities

This is a unique role in that there is the chance to really build and shape how the commercial function operates. The key tasks or qualities relating to the role are as follows:

  • Support senior management in annual planning and territory activities
  • Utilize our systems to automate our reporting where possible, enabling live real-time data
  • Work towards regular improvement of system implementation and process optimization
  • Drive the ‘inspect what you expect’ mentality
  • Help drive the cadence from lead generations through opportunity managing and meaningful sales interactions and the forecast
  • Ensure there are regular interactions for large deal reviews, hygiene, etc
  • Monitor regular target reviews for all quota carrying sales persons
  • Drive regular KPIs for helping management run the business
  • Support all sales personnel in identifying key trends between offerings and orders
  • Ensure insights include both leading and trailing indicators
  • Be creative, think of things we have not thought of
  • Ensure that territory structuring and alignment are efficiently maximized
  • Training and development of sales personnel

About You

  • 8-10 years in business operations role
  • Ideally you’ve worked at least one large multinational and one small or high-growth company
  • Educated to degree level in a business or similar subject
  • Demonstrable experience of reporting and production of summary reports and analysis
  • Experience of working across geographic and functional boundaries
  • Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
  • Strong knowledge of marketing automation (Marketo in particular) and Salesforce technologies as evidenced preferably by certifications.
  • Strong experience in data analysis, and preferably knowledge of SQL
