Head of Sales - EMEA

Twilio's Head of Sales - EMEA will be responsible for building and leading the Twiliio sales team in EMEA and tasked with acquiring new customers, driving cross-sell and upsell within our existing large customers and building and utilizing a partner ecosystem for Twilio.

About the job:

You will be responsible for leading New Business, Account Management, and Systems Engineering functions directly while assisting with sales development, marketing, and all other EMEA based Twiliio functions indirectly as the local sales leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a high performance sales team.
  • Drive EMEA revenue growth through new customer acquisition and new use case revenue within existing customers.
  • Reduce/Eliminate customer churn from within large account managed customers.
  • Build operating cadence around pipeline, forecasting, deal review, and sales execution activities.
  • Teaching and utilizing value-based solution selling to the sales team.
  • Recruiting, hiring, career development, performance management.
  • Provide regular updates of customer requirements for business-planning and development.
  • Provide transparent and consistent management input on lead progress (CRM, sales funnel).

Requirements:

  • Our ideal candidate is an energetic, proactive team player who is target driven.
  • 10+ years experience building and leading high performance teams with overachievement.
  • High career trajectory and potential.
  • Consistent overachievement in previous performance results.
  • Solid technical and commercial skills.
  • Cultural awareness to assess situations where language, culture and or demographics impact the environment.
  • Possess well-developed communication skills; able to communicate into CxO level,
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and one other major global language.
