How You Spend Your Eight Hours

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to set requirements for open roles

  • Join professional networks and social media groups to find potential candidates

  • Attend job fairs and organize career events

  • Ask for referrals from current employees, acquaintances, and industry professionals

  • Use Boolean search to look for qualified candidates for hard-to-fill roles

  • Browse resume databases and portfolio sites

  • Maintain organized databases with candidates’ data in ATS

  • Send emails to passive candidates and follow up when necessary
