We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to fill the position of Health Lead. The Health Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing health programmes and influencing policies to promote employee health and well-being within our organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health promotion, risk assessment, and program development and excellent collaboration and communication skills.

The Health Lead will be based within the Organisational Development team whose mission is to drive the growth and success of Version 1 by fostering a culture of continuous improvement through coaching support, people manager development, leadership strategy, and effective change management.

  • Research, Develop and Implement Health / Workplace Health Programmes in partnership with the relevant internal collaborators.
  • Design initiatives that address the organisation's physical, mental, and emotional health concerns.
  • Setup workplace health metrics, analyse trends and provide leadership to respective business stakeholders
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of health programs and make adjustments as needed.
  • Identify and assess health risks within the organisation, such as absenteeism, stress-related issues, and occupational health concerns.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate health risks and promote a healthy work environment in conjunction with Employee Experience.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on promoting employee health and wellbeing through internal manager programmes
  • Develop educational materials and resources to support employee health and well-being.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in health promotion and incorporate them into training programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Public Health or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing health programs in a corporate or organisational setting.
  • Strong understanding of health promotion principles, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in delivering training and educational programs on health and wellbeing-related topics.
  • Experience in workplace health metrics and analysis of trends.
  • Certification in health education, wellness coaching, NEBOSH Working with Wellbeing, Occupational Health and Safety or related 

Location: This role can be delivered in a hybrid nature from one of these offices Belfast, Dublin, Cork, Edinburgh, Newcastle upon Tyne, Manchester, Birmingham or London.
