Diversified Radiology is a thriving and growing 70+ radiologist group founded in 1927 and partner with US Radiology Specialists. Our practice is dedicated to providing quality, sub-specialized care and expertise in Denver, Colorado and throughout the nation via teleradiology. Our practice is truly ‘diversified’ providing diagnostic and interventional excellence to improve patient care with different hospital systems, independent outpatient imaging centers, tertiary care centers, community hospitals, specialty practices, and stand-alone ED and urgent care centers in 18 states and growing. Our case mix and complexity rivals that of teaching hospitals, but in a relaxed practice setting that values work/life balance. 

This position will have key role reporting responsibilities to our CEO with direct interaction across our local practice leadership team, including CFO, Director of Operations, HR, and our physician partners.  Performs compilations of financial data from multiple sources, and or vendors and prepares analysis of that data to produce business information and reports used to support business decisions.

Essential Functions:

  • Works with management team to interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Uses data to provide insights into clinical quality, revenue, expenses, capacity, and utilization.
  • Develops and implements useful databases, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiencies, automation, and reduces manual work.
  • Identifies, analyzes and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Supports the creation/implementation of a data warehouse.
  • Owner of data quality ensuring consistency across the practice. 

Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or applicable discipline is required.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years financial analysis experience desired, with experience in healthcare data analysis or healthcare consulting highly preferred.
  • One (1) to two (2) years experience working with data and creating reports.
  • Prior healthcare experience would be ideal, but it not required.
  • Understanding of healthcare revenue cycle, reserving and revenue recognition practices a plus.
  • Experience with Excel and Office 365 is required.
  • Working knowledge of analytical programming languages and data visualization tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and MS Access is highly preferred.

  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact effectively with corporate, site and contractor personnel.
  • Must have capability to function both independently and under direction in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Must have high degree of flexibility and ability to shift priorities.

Environmental/Working Conditions:

  • Primarily computer work/office setting.

Physical/Mental Demands:

  • Sitting 6-8 hours/day.
