Job Profile Summary

The HR Analytics Specialist, Level II (Strategic Dapifer), will provide insights, research, and analytics for
the Global Human Resources (HR) division of Rackspace. This position reports to the Senior Dapifer
and works closely with global HR Analytics Specialists as well as product managers for HRIS systems.
Customers include global HR project managers and other global HR team members (generalists,
recruiters, trainers); as well as global managers and global specialists throughout the company.

Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for importing, cleaning, transforming, validating or modeling data with the purpose of
understanding and drawing conclusions from the data for decision making purposes (this is not a
reporting analyst role). Delivers assigned tasks on multiple concurrent projects. Coordinates and
performs basic technical requirements. Collects, pre-processes, and organizes data. Maintains and
standardizes data sources. Conducts statistical analyses. Builds predictive models. Constructs
visualizations for data presentation. Interacts with individual contributor level stakeholders. Works to
transform moderately complex data into business value by discovering interpreting, and
communicating data trends. Collects and pre-processes data for analysis. Applies statistical analysis
and modeling techniques to isolate and visualize patterns. Presents results in a readily consumable
manner for audiences. Gathers data from a variety of sources. Formulates and tests hypotheses (in a
statistically significant way). Develops and tracks KPIs. Presents results to key stakeholders and
executives.

Knowledge

• Intermediate knowledge of reporting technology trends. Ability to participate in successfully
delivering on global projects. Intermediate verbal and written communication skills. Intermediate
analytical and problem-solving skills. Intermediate statistical abilities. Critical thinking and phronetic
thinking skills. Ability to collaborate with all levels and geographies of organization, both technical and
non-technical. Ability to use and deploy predictive data models, dashboards and KPIs. Ability to
anticipate problems and opportunities and the initiative to pursue solutions. Ability to communicate
moderately complex statistical concepts and output to non-experts in both a written and verbal
manner.

Skills
Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer
Science, Statistics or related field required
Certifications
Experience
• Demonstrated data analysis experience of 3-5 years required. Experience in designing and delivering
best practice workforce analytics. Intermediate metrics and reporting experience. Intermediate
experience in transforming reporting results into insights and action plans. Experience in designing
and delivering best practice workforce analytics. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically,
Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio. Statistical, project management, and communication tools are
used as well. Previous Human Resources experience helpful, but not required. Experience with
Business Intelligence tools such as QlikView a plus. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server a plus.
Experience with reporting in Workday, iCIMS, and/or Cornerstone a plus
Physical Demands
• General office environment. May require long periods sitting and viewing a computer monitor.
Moderate levels of stress may occur at times. No special physical demands required.
