HR Business Partner Technology

VimpelCom - one of the world's largest telecom companies, operating in 14 countries and headquartered in Amsterdam - is looking to hire HR Business Partner to support our Technology team in their everyday operations.

In the course of this role, you will:
Partner with local senior leaders to deliver HR solutions to ensure the organization capability, structure and culture are in place to drive the achievement of business goals.
Provide well-reasoned and flexible HR advice to leaders and employees and ensure that all people activities and processes are managed in line with VimpelCom policy and local regulations and standards.
Support the local implementation of HR disciplines such as recruitment, workforce planning, performance management, compensation review, talent management and people development.
Partner with the Lab centers and its managers in Amsterdam, their leadership team and employee consultation forums to develop and embed the site strategy and drive motivation and engagement.
Collaborate with Centers of Excellence and relevant global HR BP colleagues to design and deliver best practice HR solutions in line with global standards.
Collaborate with HR Services to ensure effective delivery of HR operations.
Be accountable for HR compliance in line with local regulations and standards and manage business risk arising from employment liability.
Play an active role in the Global R&D HR BP community, contributing to Global and Regional R&D HR projects as well as Territory/Country projects.
Develop an internal communication plan for the labs – take initiatives.

Qualifications:
R&D, Techno or Digital environments’ knowledge is required
Significant HR experience, including team leadership experience and experience of working with senior leaders and leadership teams
Experience of working internationally, preferably with a technical or scientific client group
Experience of delivering HR initiatives, processes, policies, tools and procedures for a large and complex client group
A higher degree
A CIPD qualification (preferable)
