The People Operations team is committed to OnDeck’s rapid growth by being proactive and nimble; by building high-quality partnerships that delight the OnDeck community. As the People Operations (HR) Coordinator, your role reports into the Manager of People Ops and will work alongside the business leaders to develop strong multi-year talent plans that ensure a consistent, high performing workplace. Our goal is to develop, enable and retain great people.

 

As a People Operations (HR) Coordinator at OnDeck, you will:

  • Be the face of People Operations to many of our team members around the world
  • Assist with the onboarding of new staff (from data entry and system access to coordinating travel arrangements and outreach)
  • Liaise with our immigration contacts to ensure our current and future international staff have appropriate documentation and on-time submissions
  • Be part of life’s moments! Send the congratulatory and sympathy gifts on behalf of our team
  • Own the updates on important and confidential spreadsheets – Details! Details! Details!
  • Grant access (and sometimes reset passwords) to systems and tools
  • Above all, be a member of our POPs team and the OnDeck Community

Necessary qualifications for success:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 internship in a corporate environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT and technologies
  • Detailed oriented doesn’t even begin to describe your organization skills

Nice-to-haves (not required):

  • Previous experience working with sensitive and confidential information
  • Customer service mind-set
  • Identifying and implementing process efficiencies
  • A can-do attitude
