The HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in supporting designated business line(s). This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance.

Main Duties

  • The major areas of focus for this role are as follows:
  • Administering all HR functions and activities, including, but not limited to:
  • Execute a seamless on-boarding process.
  • Coach managers in employee relation matters.
  • Answer HR related questions for customer base.
  • Be a level 2 Workday administrator, which includes:
  • inputting data at a high level, problem solving issues and running HR metric reports as needed.
  • Manages and resolves employee relations issues.
  • Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.Assist in terminations.Maintain records and process in Workday.
  • Assisting and providing guidance on company policies.Answering benefit related queries.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements Related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.


  • Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.4 years’ direct experience in one HR Functional area; benefits, leaves, compensation, immigration or employee relations.
  • Workday experience desired.
  • HR Functional Expert in two areas (benefits, leaves, immigration, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Large Population experience(400-800 Employees)
  • California & Oregon employment Law
