WinnCompanies is looking for a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator - Employee Relations/Compensation to join our corporate team located in Boston, MA.
As a Human Resource Coordinator, you will provide operational support and facilitate processes for the HR function. This is a hybrid opportunity, which will work Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5pm. It will consist of 2 remote days and 3 in-office days.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational support of recurring processes within the human resource functions of employee relations and compensation, to include, but not limited to Engagement Platform monitoring, Performance Development Process monitoring and communications, Background Check process and communications, merit and incentive program monitoring and communications, job description creation/updates and communications.
- Participate in the dispatch of HR Help Desk tickets and phone calls. Direct employees to relevant Human Resource information and/or correct departmental resource.
- Review help desk que for Employee Relations, Performance Development, and Compensation and provide basic responses to level one tickets while escalating next level tickets to the appropriate Analyst, Specialist or Generalist.
- Facilitate and maintain online tools, including job description management platform, policy management system, etc.
- Take lead in processing responses for unemployment claims through the Equifax dashboard, to include gathering the necessary information, clarifying responses with the employee relations generalist and responding by the due dates required.
- Facilitate communications related to hearings to the appropriate employee relations Generalist.
- File all disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, severance agreements and any other employee relations paperwork in the employee’s online personnel file.
- Utilize Dayforce(HRIS) to track, create reports, audit for all various topics/data related to Compensation and Employee Relations.
- Maintain the intranet page for both functions; compensation and employee relations. Ensure all data is accurate and up to date.
- Provide administrative support to various HR projects and/or initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- 1 - 3 years of related work experience.
- Strong experience with computer systems, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills, positive attitude, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work, work to deadlines using sound judgement.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment.
- Superb attention to detail.
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
- Ability to work cross-functionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources.
