Our Research Center

With 18 sites across Europe and 1500 researchers, Huawei’s European Research Institute (ERI) oversees fundamental and applied technology research, academic research cooperation projects, and strategic technical planning across our network of European R&D facilities. Huawei’s ERI includes the new Zurich Research Center (ZRC), located in Zurich, Switzerland.

Our Zurich Research Center focus on fundamental and applied technology research as well as academic research cooperation projects.

We are looking for an outstanding bilingual (English/Chinese) Human Resources Intern to join our HR team in Zurich. As a key member of our motivated and multicultural team, you will provide support on a wide range of HR-related tasks and initiatives.

Position: Human Resources Intern
Contract duration: 6 months
Location; Zurich – Huawei Research Center
Starting Date: ASAP

Your responsibilities

  • Universities: ensure the liaison with peers from top technology Universities in Switzerland. As a Campus Ambassador, you will develop and maintain strong relationship with all stakeholders in the Campus
  • HR Administration: provide assistance and administrative support to HR Director and Recruiters on different projects. Keep and record documentation on the platform.
  • Compliance and Labor Laws: HR compliance understanding and knowledge of Swiss Laws
  • Recruitment: advertise new positions on LinkedIn, and relevant job portals. Perform pre-screening and screening of the resumes, coordinate interviews for entry-level positions. Background checks, and any other relevant recruitment-related tasks.
  • Interface with HQ: be the liaison with HQ in China with regards to platform matters.


Your background

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor or Master degree in Human Resources Management, Arts, Organizational Psychology, and Social Psychology or any other relevant field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Strong ability to work with cross-cultural teams across a wide range of departments
  • Work under pressure and in a fast track way. Be People related with social skills
  • Ability to correctly make decisions involving people issues/ problems including when to escalate the problem to a more senior consultant
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to share knowledge and work in a strong team oriented environment.
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and e-mail
