The Challenge

The Functional Implementation Consultant role for PreferenceChoice is one of the key pieces of the OneTrust architecture. After the sales process, consultants are the key contact in driving and building the relationship, implementing the solution and managing the expectations of the customer. Consultants cover the main privacy modules and also offerings such as PreferenceChoice. The role is probably the most important as it’s the bridge between OneTrust and the customer and internally, being able to identify gaps in the product which might help the business grow.

Creating personalized user experiences while respecting customer data and is a growing challenge for marketing teams in the age of data privacy regulations. As consumers become more privacy conscious, businesses must be transparent with their data collection and usage to build trust and maintain relationships with their end users. Our PreferenceChoice product allows organizations to centrally manage consent and preferences while giving consumers control and visibility into how their data is used. By syncing consent and preference settings throughout marketing applications, businesses can create consistency across marketing activities and deliver positive user experiences that respect customer preferences

Your Mission

  • Partner with cross-functional customer teams, including Marketing, to design and architect Preference Management solutions using recognized methodologies; understand customer use case requirements and collaborate to translate these into implementation blueprints
  • Implement the OneTrust solution based on agreed customer specifications and use cases
  • Support clients throughout the whole implementation process, start to end, ensuring they receive exceptional service utilizing agile project management techniques
  • You’re the light to the company, your actions are how OneTrust will be perceived by its customers
  • Having the ability to work closely with the product team to build out ideas and concepts that are highlighted during implementations
  • Becoming a subject matter expert to specific modules, helping other junior colleagues or supporting your team members who may be new to the OneTrust platform

  • Previous project management experience is beneficial 

Your Experience Includes

  • BA/BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related subject 
  • 3+ years of relevant experience across software development, professional services, solution engineering, technical consulting; with expertise in architecting, supporting and/or rolling out new technology and solution initiatives 
  • Specific market experience consulting in Digital Marketing and marketing automation tools
  • Effective customer-facing communication and relationship building skills. Proven success in and genuine enthusiasm for working directly with customer 
  • Proven ability to engage across corporate functions (Professional Services, Support and Product Management)
  • Previous end-to-end implementation experience, ideally on a SAAS platform/product
  • Experience in agile project management techniques and methodologies
  • Experience in de-escalating tough situations to achieve a favourable outcome
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to chair meetings or host webinars
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities 
  • An understanding of the following tech (ideally):
    • API’s
    • JavaScript, HTML, CSS – a plus
    • SSO
    • SalesForce Marketing Cloud
    • Eloqua
    • Marketo
  • Ability to build relationships across stakeholders in marketing, sales, and engineering 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel 
  • Strong entrepreneurial skills to excel in a complex and rapidly evolving SAAS environment
  • Willingness to travel (10-20%)
