SuprTEK is looking for an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for the Application Management System (AMS) team in the National Capital Region.

This position will support the Office of the Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of the Army (OAA) Information Technology Management Office (ITMO) in maintaining the appropriate operational security posture for Information Level 4 (IL4) assets hosted within the Azure GovCloud for systems utilizing Platform as a Service (PaaS).  The team supports multiple Assess & Authorize accreditation packages as well as relevant policy documents and procedures.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Senior level position to support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) certification and accreditation of all AMS IT systems
• Maintains operational security posture to ensure information systems (IS), security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed in close collaboration with the ISSM
• Create and Maintain A&A/RMF documentation required by DOD RMF, Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and Security Recommendation Guides (SRGs): Security Plan, Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M), Software/Hardware Inventory, Network diagrams, INFOSEC Policies and Procedures, Risk Assessment Report, Security Assessment Plan and Report; Contingency Plan and Incident Response Plan
• Coordinate with System Engineering team to document and address Security Controls, assist in remediation, and ensure that POA&Ms are being appropriately managed
• Conduct periodic reviews of information systems to ensure they are current and in compliance with the security authorization package
• Perform ISSO duties in support of in-house and external customers

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

• Requires active/current Secret clearance
• BA or BS in IT or related field or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of relevant experience in IT or related Enterprise Architecture, Information Management, or Security field
• Must have an active CASP+ or equivalent certification
• Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
• Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST SP 800-53, and processing Assess & Authorize (A&A) packages
• Experience in preparing detailed security documentation for Government approval to achieve Approval to Operate (ATO) objectives via the RMF process
• Familiarity of IT security principles and methods (e.g., firewalls, demilitarized zones, encryption)
• Experience administering/architecting Microsoft Azure Cloud (PaaS and IaaS) or other Cloud
• Experience remediating vulnerabilities identified by DISA STIG, SRG, and ACAS Scan.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, client facing
