Infrastructure Engineer - IT

Your Opportunity

As an Infrastructure Engineer on our dynamic IT Team, you will wear lots of hats in our scaling organization! You’ll be responsible for designing and maintaining a wide range of IT infrastructure-related tools and services while being able to pivot quickly when new directives are announced.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, deploy, and maintain internal corporate tools, servers, and networks across multiple sites globally;
  • Monitor physical and virtual infrastructure and evaluate areas for optimization;
  • Direct core IT cloud services such as G Suite, Slack, and Okta;
  • Provide Tier III support for IT Help Desk;
  • Occasionally respond to after-hours infrastructure-related incidents.

In addition to our Portland or Atlanta offices, the opportunity to work from a remote office may be available depending on applicant location. We are open to remote candidates who can accommodate West Coast hours from a home office and who have >1 year of success working remotely with a distributed team!

Your Qualifications


  • 3+ years demonstrated ability working in a fast-paced organization with strong demands on the IT infrastructure;
  • Expertise in deployment and maintenance of virtualized servers (VMware);
  • Expertise in enterprise network architecture and management (Juniper, Aruba, pfSense, Meraki);
  • Expertise in infrastructure monitoring and logging (Nagios, SolarWinds, New Relic);
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language;
  • Superb communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills;
  • Ability to develop documentation, processes, and procedures.


  • Experience leading enterprise storage solutions (NetApp, Synology);
  • Experience running cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, GCP);
  • Experience with Python or Bash;
  • Experience with general system automation;
  • An understanding of Linux-based environments.
