The IT Project/Program manager is responsible for managing and executing projects/programs within the EMG IT Infrastructure team. This role will work across multiple IT disciplines and groups. The successful candidate will lead projects and help manage Programs.
Job Responsibilities
Organize, prioritize, execute and track projects for the EMG IT Infrastructure organization
Utilizes a thorough understanding of the project lifecycle to prepare, lead, analyze and maintain detailed project work plans and schedules using project-planning tools
Develops and delivers reports to key stakeholders summarizing objectives, deliverables, status and metrics for projects.
Organize and manage priorities of program/project deck within assigned IT group.
Work closely with functional stakeholders, Hold regular update meetings, lead project teams.
Develop project scopes, project plans, and project deliverables.
Hands on execution of projects.
Conducts and/or actively participates in meetings related to designated projects, with internal and external partners
Requirements
Proven hands-on project/program management experience.
High energy, highly focused person with the ability to break down barriers and work through ambiguity
Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand business terms to all levels of management including business analysts, technical resources, business and IT executive leadership
Excellent analytical ability to quickly gather facts, perform root cause analysis and draw conclusions in collaboration with project teams
Ability to effectively, and independently, manage multiple competing priorities with high attention to detail; requires creative problem solving, strong organizational, planning and time managements skills
Work Experience
3+ years' experience as a Project or Program Manager with increasing levels of responsibility
3+ years' experience using ITSM
Experience with IT projects or Programs
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
Six Sigma, PMP, PGMP, Agile, or CPIM Certified
Working knowledge of Lean techniques and principals
