Inside Sales Manager

At the core of Planday’s engine is a Sales team that drives the continual scaling of our business and our product, and in 2020 Planday's growth strategy has seen our lead generation turn actively outbound.

To help mentor a new local team of junior SDRs, and to ensure overall a global leadership position in the workforce management space, we are now hiring for an Inside Sales Manager based out of our London office.



As our new UK Inside Sales Manager you will work closely with our global Director of Sales Development Michael Haladyn, to lead on:

  • Recruitment, training, development and target-based performance of local SDRs
  • Improvement of overall opportunity management, qualification processes and sales metrics
  • Development of ad and nurture campaigns, field events and outbound communication best practices
  • Identification, development (and, when necessary, closing) of key company accounts

Requirements

You are our ideal Sales Manager if you have worked your way up from an Account Executive background or similar, having eventually built/grown/managed your own successful SDR team(s) in the SaaS industry, serving the small-to-mid market in 30-60 day sales cycles.

Alongside your people management ability, your own speciality and experience set should include:

  • Well-honed SDR onboarding and performance plans
  • A structured approach informed by BANT or another recognized qualification methodology
  • Data-driven decision making and a tendency to challenge the status quo
  • A comprehensive understanding of market trends, customer needs and competitors
