About the Role

Hi there! We are hiring an Internal Auditor to be primarily responsible for individual internal audit projects. In this role, you are expected to develop the internal audit scope, perform internal audit procedures, and prepare internal audit reports reflecting the work results. Work performed will include coverage of functional and operating units and focusing on financial and operating processes. You will also manage follow-up on the status of outstanding internal audit issues.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
  • Interprets policies and producers and applies professional accounting and auditing principles and standards, in addition to international professional practice framework of IIA to test and evaluate process, financial records and operational systems.
  • Identifies and analyzes causes of uneconomic and inefficient practices, assess alternatives which might yield desired results.
  • Develops recommendations for bringing program and operations into compliance with goals and objectives, and writes reports documenting findings.
  • Uses computer and /or applicable software to perform statistical analysis of data
  • Prepares and maintain applicable work papers, schedules, supporting documents, and summaries in electronic or hard copies form.
  • Obtain, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts etc

Requirements

  • Four+ years of relevant experience preferably in financial auditing, operational auditing, and information systems auditing.
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline required
  • Certifications endorsed by IIA, SOCPA, CPA, CA would be a plus.
  • Great Knowledge of business and departmental policies and procedures
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and compile detailed reports
  • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • Sound independent judgment
