Supply Chain is a major differentiator and source of competitive advantage for Wayfair.  We are the team that creates loyal customers by making sure every order goes perfectly, every time.  We collaborate with suppliers, negotiate with carriers, and manage warehouse operations.  Every day brings a new challenge and need for innovation.

We are making Wayfair the greatest customer experience in eCommerce and are looking for hands-on problem solvers who are passionate about having a tangible impact on our customers.  Team members help drive innovation and performance in many ways, including analytics, negotiation with external partners, coordination across internal teams, process engineering, technology design and implementation, and people management.  This role starts as a utility player, assigned to key projects that are matched based on near-term business need and candidate interest.  Over time, successful candidates will develop expertise over an increasing scope of responsibility and develop a track record of results.

  • Driving a procurement process and negotiating with carriers
  • Improving our ability to forecast demand at an item level
  • Process engineering to increase labor efficiency within hubs

The ideal candidate operates with independence, enjoys digging into data to diagnose issues, can understand business problems and create actionable and implementable solutions, works well cross-functionally, and thrives in a fast-paced and energetic environment.
