As part of the Marketing team, this is a fantastic opportunity to create, animate and grow our payment community. As the Event Marketing Coordinator (Internship), you will be a key stakeholder in hosting meetups, breakfasts and key events for our C-level executives.
You will have the opportunity to manage the full scope of event production from logistics to design and promotion. At SlimPay, we work in a friendly and collaborative atmosphere, where you can test new formats and push forward innovative ideas.
Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you will join a team of 5 people to:
Set event calendar, partnering with SlimPay’s teams and frame all aspects of the events.
Create the necessary material (flyers, goodies, posters, kakemono, etc..)
Manage all logistics aspects and operations for the events (resources, travel booking, catering, venues)
Build the Community
Set materials to build relationships with SlimPay’s targets and opportunities
Work with external stakeholders to promote the events for SlimPay
Define and implement the promotion strategy before, during and after the event (emailing, social media, invites, ads, etc…)
Design an engaging follow up to set a best-in class marketing experience
Create valuable content to animate the community and increase our visibility
Develop and communicate the before / during / after plans for each event to all Slimmers (SlimPay employees)
Coordinate actions with Marketing, Sales and Partners teams
Set reports and follow ups related to each event to manage the performances / ROI of events’ effectiveness
What do you need to be successful?
A first experience in event planning and management
· Bilingual French and English – Spanish or German or Italian would be a must
· You have a genuine curiosity in startups (FinTech would be a must), and always seek to learn new things
· You’re comfortable communicating with a wide array range of people whether
face-to-face at events or on social media
· You’re rigorous, organized and reliable – you know how to set your priorities and stick
· And last but not least, you’re autonomous, proactive and resourceful – you’re always a
step ahead and bounce back easily
· You may travel for this position (not more than 10/15% of the time)
· This role will suit to someone organized, self-motivated and confident; person who
likes the mix of building strong relationships in person and getting into the details behind
the scenes. We are looking for someone who likes Marketing performances with a
specific focus on return on investments.
