In our first 4 years, we have funded and supported over 195 top startups. They have gone on to build >$8B of enterprise value and raise >$1B of follow-on capital, including rounds led by other top VCs like Sequoia Capital (e.g. Instacart, ZoomCar), Andreessen Horowitz (e.g. Coinbase, Teespring), and First Round Capital (e.g. Thalmic Labs, Flexport). Meanwhile, an investor investing equally across FundersClub would have generated a market-beating return as of our last returns analysis (through March 31, 2016).
Our goal is to support companies from seed stage through acquisition or IPO. Twelve have had exits to date (including TalentBin, acquired by NYSE:MWW; Represent.com, acquired by CustomInk; ScreenHero, acquired by Slack, and Parklet, acquired by Greenhouse). We have also built a vibrant community of >17,000 investors and hundreds of top entrepreneurs, and lead in startup investing and operating education.

FundersClub is looking for an Investment Relations Associate to build and manage relationships with top executives in Fortune 1000 companies, entrepreneurs, investors, and to provide insights on our members to the entire FundersClub team - you will be the voice of our investor members as we seek to build the best venture capital experience in the world for them. You will also identify and qualify prospective members who may qualify for our community. You will report directly to our Chief Investor Relations Officer.

Lead onboarding calls to help new members better understand FundersClub and gather insights on their investment objectives and backgrounds
Build and maintain relationships with existing investors to ensure high quality member experience and increase engagement
Work with FundersClub’s Chief Investment Relations Officer to support investor relations for various investment funds
Manage periodic requests for members
Participate in select investor meetings and assist with advance meeting prep and subsequent follow-up
Liaise with legal, compliance and accounting team on member deliverables to ensure appropriate reviews and approvals are obtained
Update contact management systems and lists and conduct research
Our Ideal Candidate:
1-2 years within investor relations or sales
Ideally at a hedge fund, private equity fund, venture capital or other financial institutions (including fintech companies)
Strong understanding of private investor requirements and needs
Ability to manage multiple projects, multitask and prioritize
Strong relationship building skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate across functions and departments to achieve goals
Excellent sales background and desire to build and maintain relationships
Polished & professional with strong communications skills both oral and written
Liaise with sophisticated client base as needed
